drive-by - the ravenel bridge in chas., SC

3.15.2010

I took these out the window of our car in November, 2008 as we drove over the Ravenel Bridge. I love love love that bridge.

I haven't shared a lot of my scenery shots here, but these kept coming to mind recently, so I thought I'd pull out the archives - as if I'm not shooting enough already.

Story

11.16.2009

It's not every day that I get to photograph people. We've got one car and too much to do on weekends to get ready for the baby to get out and shoot much right now. I'm craving the life right now, mentally photographing people we see when we're out doing our necessary thing, learning to observe again while being a part of it all myself.

I think I may post a series this week from my favorite out-and-about candids, the story-telling shots that make me happy to view and shoot.

This one is a memory - can you see? I can't help wondering what he is thinking, wishing I knew his story...

Forty-Six - Look Through My Window

2.18.2009

I was looking for a different perspective today and found this. I didn't have a lot of energy, so I fired off a few, shot a couple for my one word project, and finally settled on my back, looking up. Interesting the things you find in your own house, huh?

I'm thinking about starting a photo series here, but I'm not sure about a theme. Does anybody have any ideas?
