(22/dust)

The self-portrait almost defeated me today. But it couldn't overcome my good mood. Because it's spring outside. And my windows are all open. And the breeze is coming through smelling like home, because we have a boxwood hedge here, and boxwood is my Virginia scent.

So. Take that, camera! You can stare and click and blur at your leisure, but you can't embarrass me today!

Did I mention it is spring?

113/365 - once in a while

4.27.2009

This photo is straight-out-of-the-camera (SOOC). Every once in a while, it's nice to know that I can actually nail it without the help of Photoshop. Very queasy today. Didn't want to spend a lot of time on it anyway.

Fifty-Eight - Afternoon Coffee

3.02.2009

I've been wanting to try something like this since I saw this shot over on Flickr last week. The light hit our table right this afternoon, and the rest is now history... This photo is SOOC (Straight Out Of the Camera) and intentionally blurred.

Have a good blur shot to share? Leave me a comment with a link for it!

Bonus Shot Friday

2.27.2009

It's Bonus Shot Friday, instituted by me to share pictures I really loved from the week that haven't had a chance to shine. Because people don't really care what gets blogged on Friday. They're ready for Saturday and the in-between living we all do on the weekend. So here's my bonus shot, blazing straight out of the camera (SOOC) with fascinating fire.

What about you? Did you get a shot this week that didn't fit anywhere but in your heart? Here's a reason to share, share, share, so we can all get in on the bonus!
