last night the thunder sounded its first rumbling call of spring. the wind rattled our windows and the lid for our kitchen stove vent, rushing through the trees, pushing rain against our windows, keeping me awake longer than I wanted with its sighing and weeping and groaning. and this morning, i found that the storm left joy...
